Star of Exotic East

It was a night, a dark and foreboding night. The moon, not yet full, was high in the sky, and the stars glittered weakly around it.

In the grass, lay a ginger she-cat, who was watching the sky, for some hint or message. Her brown eyes seemed too old for her, but, somehow, they also seemed to fit.

'...The Painters of Blue must be out there somewhere...Somewhere, they must be watching me. Maybe they'll take pity on me. Maybe they'll let me back into the Earth Walkers...' she muttered to herself, wildly.

Her paws was sick of walking. Her head whirled with thoughts, and her claws tore up the ground. Luna felt frustrated. She felt anger, but could not think of a rational reason as to why emotions thundered through her. Although she was planning to hunt, her interaction with Pool and Dust unsettled her. But for what reason? Over here, besides the river, the forest appeared different. The moonlight wasn't radiant and bright from the reflective headstones of the graveyard. Instead, there were more shadows then ever before. A wind ruffled her ginger fur. Then she saw it. A ginger she-cat watching the sky. The scent emitted from the cat told her the stranger was not one of the Earth-Walkers. Hissing to herself, Luna slipped out of sight, creeping under the branches of a nearby bush, surrounded by foliage. Her piercing amber eyes remained on the strange one.

Star of Exotic East

Suddenly, Star heard someone, behind her. She immediately scrambled to her paws, and scented the air. An Earth Walker! But which group?

A charred, almost burnt smell wafted towards her nose. Fire. She turned around, trying to pinpoint the direction of the new cat, but she couldn't tell.

Foolishly, she called out. 'Who's there?'
