The female she-cat eyed the roof of the cave nervously. How she hated being cooped up inside.

River growled, slightly, and curled up upon the springy moss that they used for bedding. She was going stir-crazy in the Nursery. How she wished she could remember the name of that Fire warrior...so she could make him pay.

'I'm never ever going to have kits again.' she said, voicing her thoughts out loud. 'I can't bear it any longer...I have to get out.'

Blood walked in silently. He had a huge fish in his mouth. the water chief said he had to get some prey for River. He only heard the last part of what River said, [i]"I have to get out."[/b] Blood felt a bit bad for her, staying in her all the time. He went over and set the prey by River he said in his regular monotone voice. 'Here's a fish." His face was expresionless as always. Of course, unles he was very happy did he show some signs of happiness.

She looked up when she heard his voice, and nodded, slightly.

'Thanks.' she said, sighing a little. 'You're a water warrior too, aren't you? I've seen you around...your name is unusual, isn't it?'

She may have been sounding rude, but she didn't care. She didn't care for much when she was cooped up in here. All she wanted was to escape...

Blood sighed and sat down. He said, "Of course I'm a water warrior." He then said in a bit more angered tone, "You can call me Blood." He lashed his tail back and forth a bit annoyed. He thought his name was very unique. He sighed, everyone thought his name was weird. He might as well get used to it.
